When you log into ComQual, you'll see a main menu that organizes your quality management activities:
Dashboard
Your at-a-glance view of system status, key metrics, and items requiring attention. Start here each day to see what needs your focus.
Control Activities
Plan, schedule, and execute monitoring activities such as internal audits, process checks, inspections, and reviews. Each type of control activity can have its own structure, instructions, and checklist.
Issues
Document nonconformities, problems, complaints, audit findings, or any situation where requirements weren't met. Different issue types can be configured for different sources (customer complaints, internal findings, supplier issues, etc.).
Actions
Manage corrective actions and improvement initiatives. Track what needs to be done, who's responsible, deadlines, and verify that actions achieve their intended results.
Data and Documents
Your central repository for quality system information. This is where you'll find and maintain:
- Strategic documents (e.g. policies, objectives, context analysis)
- Systemic registers (e.g. risks, opportunities, suppliers, equipment, competencies, processes)
- Quality documentation and records
- Any other structured data your management system requires
My to dos
Your personal view showing everything assigned to you - control activities to perform, issues to evaluate, actions to complete. Your personal task list.
Schedule
Calendar view of all upcoming activities with deadlines across the system. Monitors control activities, actions, verifications, and any other tasks requiring completion by a specific date, with alerts to ensure nothing is missed.
Settings
System administration area where authorized users manage the application:
- Subscription - View subscription details and configure global settings (such as disk space usage, enabled features, organization name and logo)
- User management - Add and remove users, assign roles
- Forms - Configure the structure of different modules:
- Check lists - Configure control types and other checklists, each with own properties, instructions and custom fields
- Issues - Define issue types with specific fields and workflows
- Evaluations of non compliance - Set up evaluation criteria and process
- Actions - Configure action types and sub-activity structures
- Verifications - Define verification requirements
- Data and Documents Lists - Create and configure any register, list of data and / or documents
